Logitech, known for providing high-quality game controllers of PCs and consoles, has announced a new cordless controller for the PlayStation 2. The Logitech Cordless Action Controller, which made its debut at the CeBIT tradeshow in Hanover, Germany and will be featured at the Computer Game Developers' Conference, resembles the original Logitech Cordless Controller, yet is smaller and lighter than its predecessor. Featuring quick response with its 2.4 GHz cordless radio frequency technology, playability from up to 30 feet away and full compatibility with the PlayStation, PSone and PlayStation 2, this controller will be just the thing for gamers who prefer a little freedom when gaming.

"Logitech is committed to providing gamers with high-quality cordless controllers that are comfortable and affordable, and offer uncompromising performance," said Fred Swan, director of marketing for Logitech's Interactive Entertainment Business Unit. "The Logitech Cordless Action Controller for PlayStation 2 addresses all of these requirements in a product that is attractive and fun to use."

The Logitech Cordless Action Controller will be available this April in major retailers and at www.logitech.com. More product info can be obtained by clicking here
