Final Fantasy X Hits Japan

Square held an official Final Fantasy X countdown with Japanese retailer Tsutaya earlier today. Hundreds of fans and onlookers were present at the Shibuya location of the retailer to witness the launch of this title.
Fans counted down the seconds until the store doors finally opened. From there, a mad rush for the counters would escalate as music from the game began to play from exterior speakers placed outside of the store. It was an unprecedented event, like no other.
