Final Fantasy X Announcement To Come
Rumors continue to spread across the web concerning impending news about Final Fantasy X for the PlayStation2 console.

Recently, Japanese-based Dengeki-oh magazine conducted a recent question-and-answer period with several well known Japanese developers. Most of the questions were in relation to the future of gaming within the next four years.
Square which didn't happen to fully participate in the questioning dropped the ball concerning the legendary RPG series; Final Fantasy, when asked about the company's strategy for 2001. Here's what the representative for Square had to say:
[blockquote]"Surely the biggest is FFX. However, in addition, we have the FF movie, PlayOnline, the Wonder Swan; we really have lots of things coming up next year. But the details are still...secret (laughs). Anyway, for the opening of the New Year, we would like to make an announcement regarding FFX, in some form or another. Please look forward to it."[/blockquote]It should be stated that the connotation within the representative's comments usually refers to within the first two weeks of January. This means that sometime within the first half of January 2001, we can expect to hear big news in regards to Final Fantasy X; the long-awaited tenth installment in the RPG series.
