EA Announces FIFA Soccer 2005 Soundtrack

A line-up of worldwide music has been assembled to accompany the latest in EA's soccer franchise.

Electronic Arts has announced the in-game soundtrack for the upcoming soccer title, FIFA Soccer 2005. The music line-up features talent from artists all of the globe, with new tracks from The Streets, Faithless, Air, Seeed, Oomph!, Franz Ferdinand, Marcelo D2 and Mala Rodriguez. DJ Paul Oakenfold also wrote and recorded an original theme for the game that properly reflects the FIFA 2005's upbeat action.


"With FIFA Soccer 2005 we are raising the bar for in-game music soundtracks – again," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Audio at EA. "This year, we are delivering an unprecedented line-up of bands, with 38 songs from 20 different countries. The international mix of artists will strike a chord with football fans worldwide. FIFA Soccer 2005 demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering relevant, cutting-edge music to our diverse global audience."
