Ladies and gellyspoons, it is done. After announcing that Koei was readying Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends, then relaying the news that the game had gone gold, we can pass along the good news: DW5XL is in stores.
Though billed as an expansion (and it is, though you don’t need the original Dynasty Warriors 5 to play the game, there’s still a whole hell of a lot of stuff to dig through for $30 – including a mode that lets you go from common soldier to running with the big boys as a commander.

Powered by the most advanced melee combat technology, Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends takes the series a step further with more incredible action, powerful storytelling, and masterful details," exploded Amos Ip, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for KOEI Corporation.
