Questing a Week Early
Squenix has bumped Dragon Quest VIII’s release up a week to November 15. We know you won't mind too much.

Out of the pure kindness of their hearts (honestly, why else would they do such a thing?), the fan-loving guys and gals at Square Enix have decided they’ll be sending Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King to retail on November 15, a week earlier than previously announced. Seeing as the game is already to come complete with a collection of North American-only goodies ('member?), we’re going to assume the sooner we can get our hands on the latest installment, the better. Oh, and it’s probably a pretty decent game to boot.
See, what did we tell you about marking up that release calendar of yours with those ostentatious red markers? Now you’re going to have to go back and circle the 15th instead to mark Dragon Quest VIII’s release, and what, white out the one previously encompassing the 22nd? For shame!
