Namco Hometec has released 10 new screenshots of Dead to Rights 2: Hell to Pay for your viewing pleasure. Dead to Rights 2 precedes the story of the last game with your heroes, rebel cop Jack Slate and his crazy attack puppy Shadow, cleaning up the mean streets of Grant City. The story centers around a criminal organization that has taken an important city official hostage. But no worries folks, Jack Slate, is on the case. Expect Jack and Shadow to solve this crime and untangle the intriguing web of lies and deceit that surround it.

Heads will roll as Jack finds himself with no shortage of ways to dispatch his foes with an arsenal that includes meat cleavers, baseball bats, shotguns, assault rifles, and rocket launchers. Combine all that with a host of new and lethal disarming attacks and his trusty pal Shadow, and that makes Jack Slate one bad mutha. Oh, and don’t think we forgot about all that diving in slow motion while taking out your foes. They’ll be plenty of that for you too, as Dead to Rights 2 uses what Namco Hometec calls an “innovative spherical slow motion attack system.” Keep your trigger fingers ready gamers, Dead to Rights 2 ships in April 2005.
