Dark Cloud Release Date Confirmation
Sony Computer Entertainment America has finally confirmed a release date for their upcoming adventure/RPG title, Dark Cloud for the PlayStation 2.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) finally confirmed the release date of their long awaited adventure/RPG title, Dark Cloud for the PlayStation 2.
The game will begin shipping to retailers across North America on May 29th, 2001. While the title may seem reminiscent of other adventure/RPG titles such as the Zelda series, Dark Cloud allows players to create their own worlds that they will eventually adventure through. Utilizing the PS2 hardware, the game will feature a 3/4 view, allowing a full 360 degrees of movement.
The Georama system within the game allows players to create geographical landscapes, eventually molding full towns and cities, complete with homes, volcanoes and streams. Dark Cloud will retail for a price of $49.99 in U.S. dollars.
