SuperNOVA Song List Revealed
It's not the whole thing, no, but it's certainly a start.

Dance Dance Revolution has some serious legs. Though the craze that swept through the editorial side of the industry in the late 90s and early part of this decade has died down, the social impact of the game -- and indeed the exercise efforts Konami has put forth in schools -- have continued to keep things in the public limelight. Which is fine by us, because we still flail around like a bunch of dorks whenever a new game comes out.
As it would happen, one of those is due out here pretty soon. The PlayStation was the original home of the series, and it seems fitting that the first arcade game in years would be headed to the PlayStation 2. Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA is more than a minor upgrade to the series, if only because it introduces more licensed tracks than the franchise has ever seen. Some of the stuff is still a little too R&B-heavy for the office's general white bread tastes, but there's an encouraging number of electronica tracks to enjoy too.
And so, without further ado, we present to you, the official US track listing for SuperNOVA. It's not complete (hidden songs are still, well, hidden), but it is impressive:

Some familiar names in there, to be sure, but we're surprised by some of the more classic tunes. It'll be interesting to see how they all mix, and we sadly didn't get a chance to get any hands-on time with the game at the recent Konami BBQ earlier today, but as soon as we do, you'll know about it.
