We know you’ve had that ambiguous “fall 2005” release date circled for Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for far too long now. Fear not, though, diehard, as Konami has given word today that November 1 will be the day when the latest in the legendary series will see the light of retail.

When Hector, a Devil Forgemaster and a former apprentice to Dracula himself, has his girlfriend unrightfully fall victim to murder, he sets out to contend the forces of the night, all the way back to ol’ Pointy Teeth’s castle, with the skill of Devil Forgery, the allied Innocent Devils and a host of weapons on his side. Unfortunately, all may not be as tangible as it seems… but is it ever?

This year, the day after Halloween may be ever eerier than the haunting holiday itself. Castlevania: Curse of Darkness strikes November 1, friends!
