Currrrrrrse!
Yes, that was an ATHF reference used to introduce the newest Castlevania game. Won't you step inside to get more info?

Just mentioning Symphony of the Night to most game geeks will get them all weepy and/or excitable, usually launching into some kind of whirlwind of unkempt-haired, pasty-skinned bravado as they recount (whether you asked or not) tales from their experience with what many feel is the best game on the original PlayStation.
Occasional spittle and general gamer funk aside, it's not really a bad thing to see someone gushing with enthusiasm about a game, since it's obvious that collection of ones and zeroes made a big impact on that person -- and likely would you had you given the game a chance. It's no surprise, then, that with every Castlevania game announcement, there's the muted gasps and held breath of a collective gaming audience that prays for a direct sequel to this game, and while the last few Game Boy Advance Castlevania games have culled the spirit of the games, many are still hoping for a proper PlayStation offering.
Breathe, folks, this isn't that game. It is, however, more of an homage and heavy borrower of those same SotN elements that made that game so damned good -- albeit housed in a 3D carapace. Before you click away in disgust, however, we've got a hearty helping of info straight from the horse's mouth. Storyline details, gameplay skinny, and even some delicious screenshots to prove that Castlevania in 3D isn't necessarily a bad thing.
"Castlevania: Curse of Darkness takes the series in a fresh new direction – complete with new heroes and villains,” explains Matt Knoles, Product Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment – America, and likely someone who would know and isn't just blowing smoke. "The conflict between Hector and Isaac will allow players to explore Dracula’s inner sanctum from a different perspective and provide fans of the Castlevania series plenty of new gameplay experiences to enjoy."
See? Matt says it'll be neato, and who could argue with him? Get prepped for even more info as it trickles in.
