Nam Tai Feels the Buzz
An intoxicated electronics manufacturer? Naw, but the company is introducing interactive quiz games to the PS2, complete with USB buzzers.

Just when you thought the USB ports adorning the front of your PS2 were only good for keyboards and steering wheels, Nam Tai comes along and shakes things up. The popular electronics manufacturer gave word today it has “won a new order” from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, giving them the go-ahead to introduce a series of interactive quiz games utilizing unique new USB buzzers.
"We are very excited that Nam Tai has been once again selected by Sony Computer to build a new gaming accessory for its PlayStation 2," grinned Mr. Joseph Li, Chief Executive Officer of Nam Tai. "We believe that, due to our strong commitment in offering high quality and reliability of our manufacturing services to our customers, we are able to continuously win new orders and take on more new customers."
The buzzer itself is said to fit snug in one hand, sporting the classic honkin’ red button, as well as four smaller, color-coded buttons for those multiple choice inquiries. Hey, it’s all about intuitiveness, folks.
Buzz!: The Music Quiz is the first of these buzzer-utilizing interactive titles, testing your wits with 5,000 questions to go along with 1,000 tunes. Pals of yours can even get in on the action, as the game is set to come packaged four buzzers right off the bat. Great for convenience sake, but how ‘bout that retail price? To be continued!
