Burnout Blazes Back

If crashing cars is your bag, Criterion's got you covered with Burnout Revenge.

Looking to top 2004's smash hit (no pun intended... or is it?) Burnout 3: Takedown, Electronic Arts has announced the over-the-top racing series' return with Burnout Revenge.

As the fourth iteration in the franchise, Revenge will, in classic style, offer the ultimate thrill, letting gamers cause heaps of mayhem through rush hour traffic as they please. On top of the new race, crash and road rage modes on the way, the game introduces Revenge mode, which, from the sounds of it, involves racing against the clock and tearing it up through rush hour. What did you expect - a casual drive along the countryside?

Burnout Revenge will be wreaking havoc this September, and is set to debut at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), scheduled for May 18-20 in sunny Los Angeles. You'd better believe we'll be rocking the show live!
