Electronic Arts announced today that Burnout 3: Takedown has made a full-on collision into retailers nationwide. The high-speed action is breaking new limits, this time with 40 different tracks, over 70 cars and 100 unique crash junctions. Races here are about as dirty as the get, as causing insane crashes and taking out opponents actually earn you points. If you've got the cojonoes for it, you can even head online with 5 other pals and commence the racing into oncoming traffic in seven different modes.
Burnout 3: Takedown should have skidding into your local game store by now, but if not, expect it tomorrow. The game carries a "T" for "Teen" rating and a tag of $49.99. Nab the additional info at www.burnout3.ea.com.
