Iz you down wit da clownz? Well, you'd better be, because the greasepaint-faced might of the Insane Clown Posse will be gracing the ones and zeros that will make up Eidos and Paradox' Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home. Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, the pair that make up (no pun intended) one of Detroit's most prominent rap duos will donate their visages, along with a select group of other stars from the JCW (you'll find out what that means in a second), for use and play in the Backyard Wrestling game.
"Eidos Interactive is pleased to announce this partnership with ICP and Psychopathic Records," said Kevin Gill, Senior Product Manager for Eidos. "We feel that ICP and the superstars of Juggalo Championship Wrestling [see?] are the perfect fit for the hardcore game experience that Backyard Wrestling will deliver on the PS2 and the Xbox."
It looks like ICP agrees, as Violent J added, "this is the final piece of the puzzle for Juggalo world domination. We've conquered every form of media and entertainment that exists, and now by partnering with Eidos we're taking over the world of video games as well. Consider this your official notice."
Shaggy 2 Dope, he of the dreads and flannel, agrees with his clown brethren: "We're totally geeked to be a part of the Backyard Wrestling video game, along with the stars of Juggalo Championship Wrestling. This is a dream come true…What!"
And there you have it.
