Sony is organising a major marketing blitz for what it believes to be its strongest ever software line-up. Between October and December, Sony is releasing seven games for the PS2 including the critically acclaimed WRC, Airblade, Klonoa 2, Jak and Daxter, and Wipeout Fusion.

Expect the usual extensive advertising for the console itself as well as massive marketing campaigns for all the big games. Naturally there will be advertising across lifestyles and gaming press as well as high profile terrestrial TV and satellite channel blitzing in the build up to Christmas, further TV advertising will carry through to the New Year.
