Aggressive Inline Goes Weekly

The first of many updates for Acclaim's "Xtreme" inline skater start... now. First up: the pro riders.

Aggressive Inline's title has gone through a slight change, dropping the name Chris Edwards from it's moniker. Edwards is still around, it appears (as evidenced by the video you'll see below), and the game itself still seems to be unchanged as a whole. Which is a good thing, since developer Z-Axis (who brought us the surprisingly good Dave Mirra 2) is working on AI.

Aggressive Inline's roster of playable characters (which are made up of an impressive 4,000 polys or so per character and boast gear modeled off renders taken directly from K2, Rollerblade and Roces) is highlighted by the aforementioned Edwards, but also includes 2001 X Game Street Champ Jaren Grob and Vert Champ Taig Khris, as well as street up-and-comer Franky Morales (also shown in video form below). The rest of the male pro cast is futher enhanced by the likes of Shane Yost, Matt Lindenmuth, Eito Yasutoko, Sven Boekhorst, Matt Salerno and Sam Fogarty.

Take a gander at the first batch of shots of the game in action, as well as a pair of movies that show off the environments and check back next week for more goodness on the girlie riders that offer plenty of authentic...jiggle.
