In a couple of months, you're not going to be able to avoid 50 Cent. It won't matter if you don't like hip-hop, or if you're sick of overblown egos pumping themselves up even further as they rake in cash hand over fist via their own record labels and multi-pronged media attacks. With a movie, a videogame and a new album that will likely force its way down the throat of the general MTV-watching public (y'know, when they're actually showing videos at like 4AM), the man is going to be around.

Chiefly among his ventures right now, though, is the the upcoming crime drama shoot-em-up attempt Bulletproof. The game stars the rapper's voice and likeness, features his music and even gets a bunch his collaborators into the act, including fellow G Unit (yes, 50's record lable) artists Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo, as well as the two men who helped him break in, Eminem and Dr. Dre (starring as McVicar and Grizz, respectively).

It's a leveraging of Vivendi's waning powerhouse publishing skills that combine the efforts of Interscope, G Unit and Eminem and Dre's record companies, Shady Records and Aftermath Records in a game penned by former Supranos executive producer Terry Winter (who's also writing 50's big-screen debut). The game will mix the expected underworld elements with music made for the game, as well as a studio mode where 50 Cent and G Unit songs can be remixed.

"I’m as excited about 50 Cent: Bulletproof as I am about the success of my album, The Massacre and that means a lot since music has always been my life,” claimed 50 Cent. "The new freestyles and the addition of Eminem and Dre show that this game is on the right course to follow in the successful footsteps of my music."

"50 Cent: Bulletproof captures the heart and soul of everything 50 Cent – his music, his life, the G Unit family – in an action-packed interactive experience with music and star power that is unrivaled,” said VU Games CEO Bruce Hack. “We are delivering a 50 Cent experience that is much more than a video game. It is also a definitive collection of 50’s multi-platinum albums, G Unit mixes and music videos."

And so it begins...
