25 To Life Sits on Delay Row
Eidos’ urban take on cops ‘n’ robbers has its release date slip to 2006 after “business review.”

Eidos Interactive, whose already had its would-be holiday heavyweights slip to next year, namely Hitman: Blood Money and Tomb Raider: Legend, has chalked another one onto the list. 25 To Life, the free-roaming action game that pits the law against those who break it, was originally intended to hit retailers in October 2005, but following a “business review” on Eidos’ part, the game has now been pushed back to a vague 2006 ship date.
“Following the recent management change and restructure, Eidos is able to reevaluate its calendar of releases giving us the opportunity to make changes in the best interest of the business,” stated Bill Gardner, CEO of US Publishing. “It is in light of this review that we have decided to move the ship date for 25 To Life from October 2005 into next year.”
Hope its for the best, boys. Nevertheless, we’ve already had the opportunity to give 25 To Life a run for its money online, so peep our preview for more on that.
