The Countdown Begins
An official site tells us why 24: The Game will be all the rage. We think it has to do with the TV series.

Oh, the ramifications of a hit primetime series nowadays. Seriously, we can’t walk outside our offices without having someone frantically run up to us, wide-eyed and screaming, “Have you seen 24? It’s OMG AMAZING!” We assume it’s this kind of fan frenzy that 2K Games is banking on with its upcoming release of 24: The Game. If you happen to be among the minority (hey, you’re not alone) who doesn’t religiously tune in each week to see how Kiefer Sutherland saves the country from “trrrrsts,” you may be a bit hazy on the story behind it all. Our prescription: the newly-launched game website (or you could, y’know, watch it on TV… but that would totally ruin the fancy transition we had going here).
Head on over to www.2kgames.com/24 and a digitized Jack Bauer will instruct you to, er, be him, entitling you to walk around aimlessly in three different directions and fire a trio of bullets before the real site fires up. Hm.
From thereon in, it’s content galore. The standard sections chockfull of game details, media and downloads are yours for the clicking, all presented in Flash-driven glory. Not to disregard the game’s television roots, the site also offers a behind the scenes look at what’s what with the story and video interviews with the cast and crew. Just try not to gawk too glaringly at Elisha Cuthbert.
24: The Game reaches zero hour later this month, a release we will surely be back to notify you of. Hey, it’s what we do.
