Activision's upcoming rhythm game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock has previously been confirmed to feature the largest on-disc set list ever in a Guitar Hero game. It seems, however, that developer Neversoft wants to crank things up to eleven. Two re-recorded exclusives have been secured, as well as twenty other tracks that were picked specifically for their "killer riffs and intense solos."

Rock legends Alice Cooper and The Runaways re-recorded "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Cherry Bomb," respectively for inclusion into the set list. When asked about lending his music to the franchise, Alice Cooper replied, "I AM a Warrior of Rock! Younger fans getting exposed to true classic rock songs is one of my personal crusades. The new audience listening to the classic songs of today, like "No More Mr. Nice Guy," will hopefully be inspired to write the classic songs of tomorrow." A noble cause, Mr. Cooper.
