Episodic Insanity
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse is coming to PSN.

Telltale Games has been successfully keeping the stubborn corpse of adventure gaming shambling into the future through episodic content for some time now, but none of their games have appeared on the PlayStation 3. This unforgivable oversight is soon to be rectified with Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, which will start dribbling its way onto the PlayStation Network on April 15. Fans of the LucasArts adventures of yore may recognize the comic book duo of freelance police (one dog and one... something of the order Lagomorpha) from the ancient Sam & Max Hit the Road, a heartwarming tale of bigfoots and twine.
The pair is back, and likely on a new spree of wanton destruction in search of their next paycheck. This time, the complications are of a supernatural bent, coming in the form of bizarre psychic powers. The most terrifying thing is who possesses these powers, as it is the psychotic and rabbity protagonist Max. A cadre of sinister characters will be hot on Max's tail in an attempt to harness his abilities, though if they were smart they would stay far away.
This farcical caper will be delivered in a series of five episodes, which will be released on a monthly basis starting on April 15. Beginning on March 18, it will be possible to pre-purchase the whole series at once for $34.95. For a quick taste of the game, take a look at the trailer that Telltale put up on Youtube.
