Pre-Order Incentives And More Announced For Lost Planet 2
Published: March 1, 2010
Capcom has announced that gamers who pre-order Lost Planet 2 at Gamestop in North America will receive two additional maps for multiplayer. In addition to this, the former Gamestop exclusive which allowed fans to play as Albert Wesker will now be availible to everyone who buys the game.
The first of two new maps is entitled "Helix", an expansive and complex underwater mining facility that will be full of twists and turns for players to navigate in order to find their enemies. The second map is " Back to the Island ", which is said to provide a nice combination of tight interior areas and wide open spaces, giving gamers the ability to engage their opponents in a variety of settings.
Oh, and if this isn't enough, the development team responsible for delivering the splitscreen gameplay featured in Resident Evil 5 has announced that they will be working on Lost Planet 2. Not only is this good news for the five people in the world unable to play online, but it's a huge addition for those of you who'd rather stay away from the "lulz gg n00b" community that online shooters can sometimes generate.
Lost Planet 2 is set to be released May 18th, 2010 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
