Already (somehow?) maxed out your rank on BioShock, or find yourself craving more trials or customization in the multiplayer arena? If so, this is the announcement you've been waiting for.
Today, 2K Games announced that they will be releasing downloadable content for their recent hit game BioShock 2, in the form of Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, an add-on that will focus primarily on multiplayer. The expansion pack will offer 20 new trials, five new masks, and an increase in the rank cap from 40 to 50. As icing on the cake, gamers will also be able to play as Oscar Calraca and Louie McGraff, as well as be granted the ability to apply a third upgrade for each weapon in the game.
President of 2K Games, Christoph Hartmann also commented on the announcement. "Downloadable content is a key part of our efforts to continue to entice the fans that have made 2K a household name - we intend to deliver single and multiplayer content that respects and expands upon one of the greatest fictional worlds ever created."
2K games has made a point of stating that more and more content will be on the way after this. In particular, add-ons that focus more on the storyline and single player aspects of the game. In the meantime though, Sinclair Solutions Test Pack will hit the PlayStation Network with a price tag of $4.99 sometime this March.
