New Metacritic Feature Goes Inside the Reviews of BioShock 2

Our good friends at Metacritic are always a good source of aggregate review scores (really the only way you should pay attention to non-TPS review scores), despite the system having a few failings (it doesn't translate letter grades or "out-of-five-stars" type scores very well) overall we can't recommend it enough. And sometimes they take those scores and turn them into an interesting story, like this one right here...
Is the game a slight disappointment — or are our expectations simply too high?
This week, 2K Games, the creator of the hugely successful BioShock, released BioShock 2, returning players to the submerged city of Rapture ten years after the events in the original game. In a new editorial feature, Inside the Reviews, Metacritic, the Web’s most comprehensive source for reviews, looks at how the sequel matches up to the original in terms of critic reviews, how the game compares to other 2010 releases, and the general differences between the first and second installment of the game.
