A fresh batch of screenshots from God of War III are here, and they demonstrate an impressive sense of scale. The God of War series has always focused on enormous set pieces, and the extra power afforded by the generational leap between the PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation 3 is clearly employed in furthering this trend.
In these new images, our hero Kratos hangs around on various anatomical parts of Gaia, the plus-sized primordial goddess. She appears to have a bad case of parasitic reanimated skeletons, and Kratos, moonlighting as a hygienist of some sort, is purging the infection. One hopes he takes proper sanitary precautions.
