Atlus dropped ten new screenshots of the weird and titillating 3D Dot Game Heroes on us. For the first time, bask in the splendor of the game's English translation. Judging from these shots, the dialog is appropriately awkward, and we wouldn't want it any other way. Slavish adherence to Japanese 8-bit tradition is a cornerstone of the game's appeal, and the further they take it, the better.

3D Dot Game Heroes will be out in the US on May 11 of this year, and it will retail for $39.99. The Atlus folks hint at an abundance of specific references to classic games in these screenshots. If you spot any, be sure to point them out in the comment section below.
