Atlus U.S.A., everyone's favorite mainstream niche title developer/publisher (Shin Megami Tensai series, Trauma Center, Etrian Odyssey) announced today that they will be exhibiting and paneling at Anime Expo 2009 this July 2-5 in Los Angeles. Panel discussion may or may not include Fusing Personas in a Changing Market, How to Prepare for an EIghty Hour Dungeon Crawl, and Soul Crushing Difficulty : Friend or Foe?

Atlus WILL be holding a special panel about the upcoming stateside release of Demon's Souls for PS3. If you don't know about Demon's Souls already, or haven't imported it yet from Asia, this From Software developed title is one of the most difficult action-RPG's to grace our shores since From Software's own King's Field series. Players should be prepared to spend the first 10 hours trying to figure out how to beat the first level, and dying a hundred times in the process. If you're good. Seriously. You have no idea. The panel, Demon's Souls: The Full Story, is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00pm and features producer Takeshi Kajii and a special video message from director Hidetaka Miyazaki, key individuals involved in the conceptualization and development of the upcoming groundbreaking action RPG, scheduled for release in Fall 2009.  Panel attendees will be eligible to win a collectible framed canvas print of game art, autographed and presented by Mr. Kajii himself. But only if they can defeat his black phantom.

Show attendees will be able to visit and check out Trauma Team, Demon's Souls, SMT: Persona, SMT: Devil Survivor, Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent, and other titles at Atlus's booth in the main exhibit hall.  Fans can expect playables, swag, and more.  Atlus will hold giveaways several times a day throughout the duration of the show, so fans are encouraged to stop by and come back often! Say hi to Jack Frost for me if you go!
