Since the fantastic Tenchu 3: Wrath Of Heaven, which came out almost six years ago on the PlayStation 2, we had to wait for a sequel capable of holding up to that particular title in the series. Now that Tenchu 4: Shadow Assassins most recently hit the Wii receiving mostly positive reviews it seems like a worthy Tenchu is finally about to return to a Sony console.

The PSP version of Tenchu 4: Shadow Assassins will be published by Ubisoft and will hopefully please North American PSP owners with some decent Ninja sneaking action starting March 24th.

For Tenchu 4 the original creators of the franchise have returned to bring the series back to almost forgotten heights in terms of gameplay and graphics.

"Master the art of death on the PSP playing as Rikimaru and Ayame, elite ninjas who must use their lethal skills to keep the peace in feudal Japan. The accuracy of the PSP system's control buttons lets players battle enemies quickly and attack them with katanas, throwing stars, smoke bombs and more. Expect to find the original Tenchu villain Onikage wreak havoc through dangerous territories." promises Ubisoft.

Let's hope this one turns out well just like its bigger brother on the Wii. Expect a review hitting the site around its release date.
