Another tactical RPG. If you read this post, you have no right to bitch later.

Atlus has recently announced a new tactical RPG, Eternal Poison, for the Playstation 2. A darker, more dramatic game than previous ones, it's looking to court JRPG and Tactical RPG fans who usually lap up all the other fare on the PS2. The press release hints that there'll be demon collecting, multiple stories, and a more fantastical, dark theme to the game.

The story, according to them, tells the tale of a magical realm known as Besek emerging in our world. Creatures known as the Majin emerge, wreaking havoc and destroying our way of life. They capture the Princess of Valdia and imprisoned her in their blah blah blah, blah blah. Blah blah blah blah, a rag-tag group of heroes must rescue the princess, while all along the way finding their blah blah blah and learning to blah blah bladitty bloo.

Face it, you already knew from the first sentence whether or not you're going to buy this game. It's another TRPG from Atlus. This is kind of their bag. Did you like Disgaea (and I hope you did)? Maybe Shin Megami Tensei? Then go buy the god damn game, you'll enjoy it. The rest of you can go back to your grizzled space marines and quick time events.
