Rockin' Out On The Cheap

So if you've wanted a piece of that Rock Band pie for a while now, but the price tag was a bit hard to swallow (perhaps you're just a starving journalist), listen up. Harmonix and MTV games have announced a special edition bundle containing the wireless guitar, drum kit, sticks, microphone, a USB hub, and of course the game itself -- all at a palatable $99.99. Bob Picunko, some hotshot over at MTV, noted that "[The Rock Band SE bundle] is a great value for a Father's Day gift, a graduation party or summer vacation."
We're told that this pricing is for a limited time, so if you've been on the fence, now's the time to jump (into the crowd). Though the PS2 version lacks the DLC of its next-gen counterpart (which is still going strong), there should be plenty here to keep you or your father (who's still in that Woodstock induced haze) occupied.
