Street Fighter IV Confirmation
What better way to start off a Wednesday!

Street Fighter IV.
Really, that's all that needs to be said but I suppose I should elaborate. Fine. Street Fighter IV and PlayStation 3.
Still not getting it? Capcom has announced that there will be console versions of the most anticipated fighting game in,well, ever, and one of those console versions will be for PlayStation 3.
If you haven't been staying abreast of Street Fighter IV news, shame on you. It's the return of the World Warriors, back to a time when Ryu, Ken, Chun-li, Dhalsim, Zangief, Blanka, E. Honda, and Guile ruled the fighting game world, when the character you selected determined who you were not just as a Street Fighter player but also as a gamer, when arcades were a dime a dozen and kids gathered there to test their skills against their friends. It's the next obvious evolution of the Street Fighter formula, 2D gameplay into a 3D space that is as fun as it is gorgeous.
Street Fighter 4's confirmation only serves to show that Capcom has its hands on the pulse of today's gamer. They know what we want and they know what gaming needs to revitalize that old time spirit. Now, if only I could find my joystick.
