Race Driver: GRID Gets One Million

Now that we have that revelation out of the way, it probably won't come as any surprise that Codemasters' Race Driver: GRID demo was downloaded over one million times between the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows platforms since its May 8th launch. It might also have something to do with a contest they have going on as well.
Race Driver: GRID lets players compete in various challenges, using different types of cars, with some of the most detailed graphics seen this generation for any racing game. Players will compete in different locations across three different continents.
In the demo, players get behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT-R on the streets of San Francisco in the eBay Motors Muscle Cup. They can also race using a Nissan S15 Silvia in the Advan Drift Trophy at the Yokohama Docks in Japan. There's also a multiplayer component, letting players race in 12-player competitions at both European and US locales.
Race Driver: GRID is set to release on May 30th in PAL regions, with a June 3rd release for North America.
