A little gift in the bag.

PlayStation Portable is getting some new toys in the mail. Well, maybe not in the mail, but it's getting some new toys nonetheless. Sony Computer Entertainment America announced a new Headset with Remote Control for PSP that allows users a seamless experience with Skype for only $29.99.
Up until now, there hasn't been an elegant solution for those wanting Sony products, but thanks to the addition of Skype on PSP, Sony has answered the call of many of its consumers.
For those not quite sure what Skype is, it's a service that allows internet users, be they PC or PSP, the ability to make and receive calls over the internet to another Skype enabled user for free, and any landline or cellphone with a Skype credit purchase. By downloading firmware update version 3.90, PSP users can enable Skype on their device and begin placing and receiving calls immediately.
Just another one way that Sony has the end user's back.
