Now, normally, we don't talk about craziness in the industry... oh, who am I kidding? Yes we do. Here's probably the craziest thing you'll read today: Fanatec, maker of high-end input devices for PC and consoles, is releasing the Porsche 911 Turboe Racing Wheel for PlayStation 3. There's only one slight hitch; the thing weighs in at a monster $349.99.

Licensed by Porsche Lizenz und Handelsgesellschaft mbH (or Porsche for short), the Porsche 911 Turbo Racing Wheel has the authentic look and feel and is said to feature latency free wireless USB technology, force feedback motors, and a smooth belt drive. It works with Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (probably the most important title it could work for) and can only be snatched up from Fanatec's website in early May.

Here's a short list of other features it sports:

1. Tuning display: change various wheel settings on the fly

2. Adjustable turning angle: adjust the wheel to 900˚, 360˚, 180˚ or make 1˚ step adjustments by software

3. Extra strong Force Feedback effects

4. Additional Force Feedback actuators in the wheel

5. Extra smooth and silent belt drive without mechanical dead zone

6. 2 separate shifters: H-pattern and sequential

7. Illuminated buttons: shows where it's connected to a PC or a PlayStation 3

8.1 GB USB flash drive: Driver and manual are stored on flash drive in the shape of a Porsche key

This is the wheel for dedicated gear heads. If it's you're thing, before sure to check it out, but for the rest of us, we'll stare on in disbelief.
