Disney Interactive Studios is adding a little something extra for those folks who grab the new The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian game when it comes out. Two original live action scenes were filmed for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, with Ben Barnes reprising his role once again as Prince Caspian himself, and link The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe with the Prince Caspian stories. In the scenes, Dr. Cornelius, played by Vincent Grass in the film, tells Prince Caspian the story of how Narnia ultimately fell to the Telmarines hundreds of years prior.

The two new scenes in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian are part of sixteen others, all excerpts from the film, that appear throughout the game, drawing the player further into one of the greatest stories ever written.

“The special filmed content that is exclusive to the video game provides insight into Narnia and the events around the ‘Prince Caspian’ story like nothing else,” said Andrew Adamson. “With movie fans’ enthusiasm for unique experiences in video games as well, these scenes are ideal to complement the ‘Prince Caspian’ game’s action.”

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian game lets players travel through Narnia, either alone or with another player who can drop-in/drop-out at will. Twenty playable characters grace the stage, with Prince Caspian being among the selectable.

PlayStation 3's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian will retail for $49.99, while PlayStation 2 will sell for $29.99.
