The Ant Commandos Rocking Out With 4-in-1 Guitars and Accessories

When music game peripherals start getting too expensive, how does a gamer save money?

It's no secret that rhythm games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are hugely successful. It's also no secret that peripheral makers have been scrambling to get something out the door to meet the huge demand for extra guitars, drum sticks, and mics. It's big business and big business means big money.

That's where The Ant Commandos come in, a company that is toting 4-in-1 guitars that work for Guitar Hero 1 through 3, as well as Rock Band. They're also releasing a bass guitar, illuminated drumsticks, and wireless microphone.

"The music genre in the video game industry has grown so much in recent years, we have seen the demand for products that deliver high-quality, high value musical experiences also grow,"   said Raymond Yow, Director of Marketing at TAC. "All of our Guitar controllers are designed to provide 100% 4-in-1 compatibility, even down to the most minute features, with Guitar Hero 1, 2 and 3 and Rock Band for both the PS2 and PS3 platforms."

The Ant Commandos are offering the Double Range Guitar for $49.99 in late April. It'll come in flame red, electric blue, and jet black, has 2.4GHZ wireless, and also sports two sets of fret buttons, for those rockers who want to wail away on solos near the base of the guitar. They're also releasing the Widow Maker Wireless Bass guitar for $59.99. It's not much different than the Double Range Guitar other than sporting a longer, thicker body to mimic a real bass, a BigBoy Strum Bar, and Feather Touch Fret Buttons.

To help those American Idols who need to get their sing along on with Rock Band, The Ant Commandos are releasing a Breakfree Wireless Microphone Dual Pack in flame red and electric blue for $49.99. It comes with two wireless mics, two mic antennas, and one wireless mic receiver. They're compatible with just about every singing game on the market, including SingStar, Boogie, and High School Musical. The Ant Commandos even claim 100 hours of play off of one battery pack.

But for those players who just want to use all their old equipment without needing to buy all this new stuff, The Ant Commandos have a PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 3 Adapter that works for most of the popular controllers on the market.

Even if you're not in the market to get something new, at least there's someone out there who has you covered when you decide it's time to step up with the rock gods and get some cool equipment.
