The Dope Bag Lands on PlayStation Store April 17th

Four new downloadable maps to make Kane & Lynch that much better.

There's no better way to start a Thursday than to download The Dope Bag off of the PlayStation Store. What am I talking about? Why, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men by Eidos, of course!

Starting on April 17th, the Thursday I just mentioned, Eidos Interactive is making available four new downloadable maps, also known as The Dope Bag, for the Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode in Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. The key word in all of this is FREE. Yes, I said it: FREE.

Each map features its own unique scenario, ranging from a clash with the Yakuza in Tokyo in the Hookers Trail map to raiding a drug baron's mansion in a Venezuelan jungle in the Flying High map. Oh, and there's also Clean Cut, where players get to tussle with local dope dealers and the Russian mafia at an LA construction site, as well as Hasta La Vista, which is all about ambushing General Fuentes military convoy in the streets of Havana.

"With Fragile Alliance we set out to offer gamers a new experience in co-op multiplayer, giving players the choice to work as a team or backstab their teammates and work for themselves at any moment," said Kim Krogh, Lead Game Designer, IO Interactive. "The response to Fragile Alliance has been fantastic and these new maps will serve to grow the Fragile Alliance online community even further."

Sounds good to me!

For those who don't know, the Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode is based on greed, betrayal, and revenge. Eight players can team up against police or enemies during the heist scenarios but the ultimate decisions are entirely up to the player. With the objective to get the bounty and make a clean getaway, players can manipulate and betray their fellow players in a bid for the ultimate goal. With the added maps, there's just that much more reason to give your buddy the evil eye.
