Nyko, makers of all the knock-off yet inexpensive gaming accessories that have graced your home for the last decade, is pushing the envelope yet again, this time with a new wireless guitar for PlayStation 3 that works with both Activision's Guitar Hero III and Harmonix's [game=1557]Rock Band[/gam.
The Front Man Wireless Guitar, as it's called, works up to 80 hours of continuous game play and up to 25 feet away. Nyko's also thrown in an effects pedal to switch between Rock Band and Guitar Hero III, you know, in case you're playing both games at once for whatever reason, a directional pad to help simplify those hard to navigate menus, a tilt sensor and whammy bar, bi-directional strum, fret buttons, and an interchangeable pick guard.
"The tremendous popularity of these two games that have become a pop culture phenomenon presented us with the opportunity to enhance the quality of the playing experience while eliminating the need for multiple guitars," Chris Arbogast, Marketing Director at Nyko Technologies said. "We addressed the needs of the fanbase with the Front Man Guitar for the PS3 without losing sight of delivering quality products for the ultimate rock out session."
What more can you really say about a guitar? Nyko's Front Man Guitar is available at retailers nationwide and goes for the cool price of $59.99. That's a heck of a lot cheaper than Activision's guitar and, since it works on both games, it might just be a steal. You never know.
