Steampunk Fiends Rejoice: Edge of Twilight Coming in 2009
Finally the Unreal Engine 3 gets used for what it was originally

Southpeak Games is all over the place these days announcing games. Add another one to the list. Fuzzeyes' Edge of Twilight is headed to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, an PC in 2009. And guess what? It's powered by the Unreal Engine 3, which shouldn't come as any surprise.
Edge of Twilight, which screams steampunk fantasy, throws the player into the shoes of Lex, an outcast bounty hunter who is caught between clashing civilizations. No good steampunk vision would be complete without loads of chains, glowing lightning swords, and dark brooding protagonists, and what little has been revealed of the game puts one giant check mark right next to those. The game is said to offer fast-paced cinematic action, but we'll have to wait for gameplay trailers to see if Edge of Twilight really delivers.
"We are very excited to help bring FUZZYEYES' creative vision to life. The team spent a lot of time developing a comprehensive story to give the universe a history and purpose, which can change based on the players' interaction within the world," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak.
We'll hold you to your word, Melanie Mroz. A lot of steampunk faithful are hanging on by a thread.
"It is energizing to see our unique vision take shape. We are bringing some unusual ideas to the table and so far we couldn't be happier with the results," said Wei-Yao Lu, CEO of FUZZYEYES. "Gamers should look forward to 2009!"
Edge of Twilight releases in 2009 but fans of anything steampunk will be waiting patiently outside Fuzzeyes' studios for a first glimpse at the game. Don't disappoint us.
