The Omega Dawn expansion pack is on its way and it's bringing nothing but fun when it lands. Omega Dawn aims to expand current map selection by throwing "Omega Factory" into the mix. The new map is a darker (in both style and environment), large-scale arena for Chernovans and Eucadians alike to battle it out. While such an addition is great, it wouldn't be much of an expansion if that was all there is. Thankfully, it's not -- the KT-424 Combat Dropship will make its debut, retroactively appearing in the previously available maps.

The dropship is capable of holding seven players, and has the ability to tote a ground vehicle alongside its underbelly. Oh, did we mention it's armed to the teeth with massive cannons and plenty of rockets? Hell. Yes.

Omega Dawn looks like it'll do a good job of adding new content and mixing the current stuff up enough to keep players entertained for a while. If you can't wait to get your hands on it in a few days, Sony has been kind enough to answer roughly a billion questions that you may have.
