Share The Love: Game Developers Choice Awards Accepting Nominations
Developers to fans: Aw, shucks.
Published: December 17, 2007
Those itching to shower their favorite developers in praise need look no further than the Game Developer Choice Awards. Two years shy of a 10th anniversary, the GDCA is adding a few new categories to the standard bunch: Best Downloadable Game and Best Handheld Game. Why now? The reason given is that "Recently, games have become dramatically more integrated into pop culture given their diversity and portability, so this year the Choice Awards is evolving to include [these categories]" -- and that's a pretty good reason, if you ask us.
The ceremony is to take place at the Game Developers Conference (where else?) on February 20th, leaving gamers with plenty of time to toss their nomination in the ballot box. Where is the ballot box, you ask? Right here.
