Tired of Guitar Hero? Now's your chance to look ridiculous with a multitude of instruments!
Published: December 18, 2007
If you're a fan of both spending money and playing rhythm games, today is your lucky day. Hot on the heels of Guitar Hero III comes Rock Band, which aims to raise the bar by incorporating several aspects of music that will no doubt enhance your half-sober social tomfoolery if nothing else.
With a drum kit, drum sticks, a wireless guitar, and a microphone thrown into the mix (in addition to the game itself, of course) -- what's this thing gonna cost you? Be prepared to drop $159.99 (that's more than the system it's played on!) if you're planning on picking up the bundle. Those who manage to break their Rock Band disc in half and cheap gamers alike can pick up a standalone copy for the usual $49.99, and with 58 tracks to jam out with, that's a pretty good deal if you ask us.
Between Guitar Hero III, SingStar, and now Rock Band, things are looking good for those who would rather sit back and jam instead of slogging through yet another dungeon.
