Turning Point's International Journals

Take a peek at just how different Fall of Liberty is with some swanky new newsreels.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty already has a fairly interesting premise: a what-if scenario where the US never got involved in World War II and the Nazis were allowed to completely take over Europe, then turned their attention to us. Alternate timeline WWII stuff has been done before, but it looks like the development team at Spark Unlimited is really trying to dig into the mythos and the machinery that could have come out of an alternate timeline.

To help sell the universe they're creating, where the Nazis finally make berth on American soil en masse and start trying to "liberate" us (uh oh, current events parallel Spidey sense is tingling), they've constructed a handful of "International Journals" -- reports from the field in the form of news blurbs and old-school newsreel clips that paint a better (and moving) picture of what is going on in this alternate timeline.

The reports found on the official Turning Point site are written in the style of 1950s journalism, the videos use actual stock WWII footage and the whole mess just feels... well, cool. Definitely head on over and get the scoop on what could have happened and we'll have more on the game soon.
