Mad Catz has gone Mad for the PS2
Mad Catz announces huge line-up of PS2 accessories and peripherials...hmmm..."peripherials"; is that a sexual reference?

On Playstation2's U.S. launch day, October 26, Mad Catz, producer of many Playstation peripherals, plans to have a smorgasbord of different accessories available for the PS2. These include the Dual Force 2 Controller, MC2 Racing Wheel, Panther P2, Universal DVD Wireless Remote, System Stand, S-AV Cables, Extension Cables and a RF Adapter.
The Dual Force 2 Controller features macro-programming to execute special moves and combos with just one button, along with Mad Catz trademark rubber grips. It will retail for $29.99.
The Panther P2 Controller has 18 action buttons (18!), four analog control axis, and a mouse-like trackball and will retail for $39.99.
The Wireless DVD Remote will eliminate the need to be tethered by your Dual Shock2 for DVD play-back. The remote will retail for $19.99.
Other Mad Catz peripherials in the making are the Fazor 2, 8MB Memory Card (expect some double-capacity and triple-capacity memory cards in the future, much like the ones available for the Playstation), Hard Drive, Modem (most definitely a 56Kbps), Multi-Port and the Rumble Rod (probably a fishing rod for the PS2).
