Smash Court Tennis 3 Goes Gold

Game, set, match.
Author: Justin Young

For those who want nothing more than to kick Roger Federer's ass on the subway, Namco Bandai is here to help with Smash Court Tennis 3. Starting July 10 you can get your portable tennis on and go up against 16 famous tennis players such as Maria Sharapova and the aforementioned Roger Federer whenever the urge strikes. The game has gone gold, meaning that the final copy has been sent to the factories for production, and it'll be in stores before you know it.

If you happen to get sick of the seven "serious" modes (Arcade, Pro Tour, etc.), Smash Court Tennis 3 offers a variety of quirky mini-games such as Pac-Man and Galaga tennis, and has expanded character customization options with twice the amount of content offered in previous games, both of which should help to keep things fresh. A cool $29.99 will net you this unique tennis title, and if your friends are too cheap to shell out for their own copy, Smash Court Tennis 3 supports game sharing for your tennis deprived friends.
