Sony has officially announced that Nikkei Net Interactive will provide Internet service called Web Pocket would be available in Japan in November. The basis of the service would be that for a monthly fee based on how much storage space you require, allow users to store digital data on a central storage center operated by the company. To keep costs down, Sony will be using digital tape to store any and all data, resulting in a cost of approximately 90 percent less than traditional hard disks. Good news!
