PlayStation Now continues its expansion across Sony's hardware ecosystem with the service hitting PlayStation Vita and PlayStation [Vita] TV owners today.

Throughout most of the 48 contiguous states and Canada, either platform will be able to stream PlayStation 3 titles directly to their system.

The Beta program, which started on PlayStation 4 during June 2014, has spread to select Sony Smart TVs as well as the PlayStation 3.

Initial reaction the the service has been mixed; while PlayStation Now has brought a varied selection of titles for gamers to enjoy, stringent bandwidth demands and high rental costs have impacted the public's view of the platform. Sony has stated in the past that they are still tooling with the pricing so it will work out for both customers and the company.

Currently, PlayStation Now hosts over 150 game titles, including God of War: Ascension, Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Rental prices vary from title to title, but most games can be rented for a 24 hour period to 90 days at a time.
