After too long of a hiatus, we are finally going to see the return of AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon and Baby in their world-bending manic adventures! With the announcement of Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz, we'll finally get more of those controller-smashingly frustrating puzzles that cause your brain to melt! Only this time they are on the Vita, so try not to smash THAT, because it costs like 10 controllers worth of money.

With over a hundred new levels and the return of the addictive minigames, we're willing to bet this will be an epic return for the series that has straddled multiple generations and consoles since the first entry blew us away with its modern take on Marble Madness. There were epic office battles vying for glory in Monkey Target back in the day, and we still fire it up on occasion to settle some scores.

Of course it wouldn't be a Vita game without a few platform-specific features, so be on the lookout for tapping and tilting when the game hits stores this October. Rumors abound that you can even use the built in camera to create custom levels and online features will let you battle across the internet.

We promise you were are keeping a close eye on this one, and as more details emerge you can count on more coverage from our team, and we might put up some movies of all of us in giant balls in the office knocking down bowling pins. First we gotta check with the lawyers though to make sure we aren't breaking our liability laws!
