Did you see Manchester City's amazing injury-time comeback against QPR to take the Premiere League title? Of course you didn't, because let's be honest, we simply don't give a shit. If you did catch it, it was one of the best soccer moments in the last decade, featuring two last second goals that stunned the world.

After watching that, I quickly fired up FIFA Street to get some footie in, but it didn't have that "beautiful game" feel. I was left longing for a "real" game. That longing is still lingering, and today's announcement about FIFA Soccer 13 has me all excited again! Listen to this:

“We are perfecting the best sports game in the world with innovations that capture all the drama and unpredictability of the real-world game,” said David Rutter, Executive Producer for FIFA 13. “These are game-changing innovations that will revolutionize our artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and collisions to create a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, and deliver freedom and creativity in attack.”

Chief among the new features is an advanced AI that lets computer players analyze the current situation and alter their runs or curve shots to break down defenses better than ever. A new dribbling system, inspired by reigning FIFA Player of the Year Lionel Messi is being integrated. Complete Dribbling will let you have 360 degrees of control with the ball, allowing you to stop on a dime or switch directions with a simple flick of the stick.

A new Tactical Free Kick system lets players line up multiple teammates before the kick to set up real-life strategies that take a lot of the unpredictability out of one of the hardest shots in football. More control makes for a more realistic game!

FIFA Soccer 13 will also feature:

· Improved Career Mode with major changes developed in response to requests from the most passionate fans of the franchise.

· New features to enhance the massive EA SPORTS FIFA online offering, including improvements to the wildly popular Head-To-Head Seasons mode

· Multiple new features and benefits to EA SPORTS Football Club, the live service that is the heartbeat of FIFA

· Complete authenticity with more than 500 officially licensed clubs.

Additional new modes and features will be announced in the months ahead. We can't wait! Look for the game in stores this fall!
